The number one thing I see with new clients is this: they eat way less protein than they think.
Most guys tell me they eat "pretty high protein." Then I have them track for a week. The real number is usually 60-80% of what they need.
One of my clients thought he was eating 160 grams a day. He was actually averaging 105. We fixed that one thing and he dropped 8 pounds in 6 weeks without changing anything else.
Protein is not complicated. But if you are guessing instead of tracking, you are probably wrong.
Here is a simple rule: aim for 1 gram per pound of your target body weight. If you want to weigh 180, eat 180 grams.
Track it for 3 days. See where you actually are. Then adjust.
That is the kind of stuff we dial in during coaching. If you want someone to look at your specific numbers and tell you exactly what to change, that is what I do.
